    We often sabotage our dreams without even realizin We often sabotage our dreams without even realizing it. When we view a dream as just “possible”, or “nice to have”, we unconsciously list a million reasons why our dream won’t work, and talk ourselves out of what we really want. When I first learned to mountain bike I was pretty awful. I was clumsy and there were many falls, many bruises, and I struggled on even the most beginner level of trails. Then I saw a picture of two riders, in the Rocky Mountains, bombing down a trail with the snow-covered mountain tops in the background. I swooned! I cut the picture out of the magazine and hung it on my wall. I had no idea how I would get to the fitness or skill level required to ride a dreamy trail like that one, but I knew I wanted it. BAD!! Slowly with time, my skills improved. I became a Badass mountain biker!! Like learning to mountain bike, some might say I’ve “made it” as an entrepreneur. I’ve hit six figures, I’ve sold an e-commerce brand, and I travel all over the world, running my business from the road. But even I have days where I struggle. I still have failures, and I still hit dead ends in my entrepreneurial journey. But like learning to mountain bike, I just. keep. going. Instead of focusing on why you won’t make it or what will stop you, try focusing on what it would feel like to reach that goal. Let yourself daydream about what it would be like. Whether your goal is to be location independent, to hit six figures (or seven!), or work less than 20 hours a week, so you can have more adventures with your family, let yourself FEEL your future success now.     Back in the early 2000s when I first started mount Back in the early 2000s when I first started mountain biking, it was awful! I was clumsy, my bike was too big and there were plenty of epic crashes. ⁠ ⁠ But I loved the sport and kept going. ⁠ ⁠ Slowly over time I became a strong, skilled rider. I have found over the years that I can do ANYTHING if I want it badly enough. ⁠ ⁠ This includes growing a successful entrepreneurial business. It might be difficult - especially at the beginning when you are just starting out. You may be clumsy. But you have to KEEP at it!! You will become more skilled as you go. ⁠ ⁠ You may have bumps in the road, or times when you struggle. Days where it feels like getting “there” is an uphill battle. Sometimes it feels IMPOSSIBLE to imagine how you’ll get to the level of success you’ve been dreaming about. I feel ya sister - I’ve BEEN there.⁠ ⁠ You have to refocus your thoughts on the positives.     Tips for creating a business vision that sets your Tips for creating a business vision that sets your soul on fire 🔥 1. Create a sacred space for creating your vision. Head somewhere you won’t be interrupted, a place where you can totally tune out, and feel completely calm and comfortable. Grab your favorite beverage, a journal or notebook, maybe some noise-canceling headphones- anything you need to create a supportive environment where you’ll feel relaxed and safe so you can really connect with yourself. 2. Start free writing and brainstorm all the things you want to create in your life and business. Don’t hold back, and don’t judge anything you put down. Forget about trying to figure out HOW you’ll make anything happen. Just give yourself permission to DREAM. 3. Of everything you write down, identify which things light you up the most. Which goals feel the most exciting? 4. When you think about your most exciting goals, ask yourself: what will it be like when I achieve these things? How will I feel? Really connect with the ENERGY of the experience now. It’s from this elevated energy that you’ll start getting inspired to take meaningful action that actually moves you toward all of your goals!
